Why's there a hole. Couldn't a half-unrolled display allow the rear cameras to act as front cameras?

    This was before Corona :D

Higher cost, compromised compressed audio over an interruptible wireless connection, batteries to keep charged, and a case to carry and also charge. Oh, and limited compatibility with most of the world's existing audio equipment.

back in the days when people see a concept its a concept. Something that gives an insight in to the future but cannot buy now. As much as I like technology it feels like we a moving into a world where we are buying concepts which works but could potentially have major flaws. Back in the day you get what you get, a full baked product but now it seems like we are forever beta testing these devices with every new thing that's coming out.

                      gimmick

So many ignorant, trolling comments as always.
Companies are experimenting with other designs, spending huge amount of money on r&d.
And there are peopole who are willing to pay the price and support pushing the tech forward.
There is nothing wrong with that.

at this point it is only a proof of concept, almost all concept devices do NOT make it to market ever, or for at least several years. good to know it CAN be done, but in reality, until the tech has matured, it most probably wont be built within the next 5 years

I want to see this tech in monitors. It'd be nice to be able to switch between 4:3 and 16:9 or 21:9 when needed.
