Anonymous, 11 Jan 2020I trust Samsung way more than any cheap Chinese smartphone ... moreThere is no diference in this smartphone that it has samsung made inside. most of the case samsung will come with snapdragon which is also in realme and redmi chinese brand. the main thing we need to note that battery and build quality. now a day realme x2 pro and redmi k20 pro has both side gorilla glass 5 protected, in which samsung note or s series has. Software update for realme and redmi, with in 2 month there will be 1 or more update for this brand, which is more than samsung flapship phone.

As Long as Sammy doesn't treat this like a low end or even a mid ranger, when it comes to Software updates and OS updates, this could be a good choice for many.
I know a lot of people that want flagship level phones but would rather choose the "lite" options due to not being able to afford $1000 price tags.
This along with the Note 10 lite are great initiatives from Samsung and I hope they continue this series of lite flagships going forward.
Just don't forget they are flagships too Samsung, we want updates!

stobs, 10 Jan 2020OnePlus? well once upon a time, i too never cared about IP ... moreIP rating or not, warranty is the same. Let's say you have a phone with an IP rating and got damaged by water (very bad luck :D). No warranty! Same as non IP rating phones.
Latest OnePlus phones have similar level of ingress protection but doesn't have a rating. So there is no point of having an IP rating or not if the protection is similar.

why macro for the 3rd lens? should be telephonto, the camera for ultra wide can do macro if it has focus

There are a bunch of phones better than this (even looks) for a lower price and if you pay a little extra, you'll get the beast from ASUS or even OP Pro flagship.

Personally I would buy this phone in a flash if the pricing is around INR 35,000-40,000. I would definitely prefer it over the OnePlus 7T.

IMO its a pretty good price and Samsung has brand value on its hand too so its will give a tough competition to Realme, Redmi, Honor and Oneplus
