hmm, if you look at the map of places that have 5G, in Europe like 80% has Switzerland, then one or two spots for each country, China is leading with 5G tech, so it makes sense that they have 5G phones; even if i had one, and i live in Germany, i could not use it.

Just saw Mo Vlogs... Where he's got his hands on a Mate 30 Pro 5G handset... And at least according to him - Google services are available and fully functional on the phone.

                  will available in malaysia soon

With p40pro and competitors new flagships coming there is a little reason to go for it. In many cases eve p30pro price stay as high as year before, its just overpriced considering time and/or missing services.

Who will buy it? Even when Huawei unlocks bootloader, adding some non-registered software is very risky. You may add viruses or malware as well.

[deleted post]Or set it up with Google services on 5-10 minutes (Y).

YUKI93, 10 Jan 2020We still don't have any working 5G network in Malaysia, so ... moreWe still dont have it. But various place already been tested since last year & likely will cover most of our local telco by this year.

But yeah, i'll wait for at least a year until it become mainstream for a 5G phone.

I'll stay with the 4G Mate 30 Pro for the time being, I don't really think we'll be seeing 5G network for the masses until probably next year. Right now, it's all just for IoT-related things like smart town and AR.

Hmm... I did not know that the UAE were a 5G territory yet. 2021 came fast it seems.
