I've been saying the same thing ever since I got my Note 7 and Mi 9t, that theres literally options as soon as you set the phone up that allow you to turn off ads and that deal with notifications, cause that's another they always whine about. Funny thing is I guarantee half, if not more, of these people aren't ever even going to buy these phones or have never even owned one. Like I said, people just love to whine

i still don't get it with people complaining about ads in miui. with my pocophone f1 and my wife's k20 pro, we had an option to turn off ads altogether on the setup process and we both have not seen ads ever. my wife also has the entry level redmi s2 from way back 2017 and with its last update it also had an option to turn off ads. as of the moment, with both our ageing xiaomi devices everything is snappy as it was the first day. screen on time has never gone south of 10 hours per each full charge for both of us. yes, there are bloats in miui but you can tuck them away in the hidden apps folder. as i have mentioned in numerous comments here at gsma, we also use flagships from other oems and i have never been satisfied a much as i am with miui. last year i also bought and resold devices such as xperia 1, galaxy note 10 plus, and the asus rog phone 2 (this one i kept), but i always stick with the pocophone f1 as my daily driver. i don't know, but i am really amazed by the support and the value given by xiaomi for the pocophone f1. if the rumored pocphone f2 is priced the same as the f1, i would happily replace my f1 in a heartbeat.

Now they're moving to MIUI 12...

How about maturing your current MIUI 11 first then move on to next iteration?

RN, 12 Jan 2020Did u meant iOS for Android with some ads on it?Hahaha... that's like the first Oppo phone's in functionality resembled that of an iPhone literally down to a tee... But they don't seem to care about it, nor do the users buying them. I now own a Note 10 Pro, and it's great. Not too iPhone-esque these days I don't think.

Disappointing that MIUI 11 on my Redmi 5 Plus doesn't get the system-wide dark mode :(((

I can't even edit a calendar entry because the app crashes and they "tease" MIUI 12.
Support is not giving useful tips at all just "reset to factory settings" and a list of crappy advices that don't work.
What happened to Xiaomi..

The MIUI 11 is very good upgrade over the MIUI 10 I really love it. It really improved the quality audio sound in my headset. A huge difference there. But the MIUI 12 should come with more intelligence. It has to detect things.

Instead of miui 12, camera app should be developed properly. It's pity to see great hardware but low software to deal with it. In Mi9 Lite camera app is fighting to focus on video, photos are too punchy pt too redish.
Come on Xiaomi, hore some good engineers pt just buy the f. Gcam software!
