And I don't see any logic for using Mediatek SoC for High midrange Samsung devices as Samsung makes their own SoC.
Dimensity 1000L should be better than the 756G both in CPU and GPU (GPU performance same as Kirin 980 or better) performance and on the same level with exynos 980 for CPU. Let's just wait for the benchmark.
Mediatek is for those device which will be manufactured by Chinese contract companies. That's just my thought.

Don't forget that Vivo nex A cost almost same and A80 has more complicated design which gives 2 advantages over the Vivo Nex A . Full screen and Great selfie camera.

For instance, despite having better CPU, Dimensity 1000L were fitted into Reno3 while SD765G were branded as the Pro one. I do not view those as flagship, or high-end though. I see it as upper mid-range or in a broader spectrum, as simply a mid-range, forgive me for the confusion.
Still though, Mediatek 5G for lower end or budget oriented device won't come anytime soon, as it's still regarded a premium feature and has only trickled down to upper mid-range level.
Regarding Exynos 9630, well I'll believe it when I see ir, as the latest rumor are from August and Samsung in September announced Exynos 980. I believe is that Exynos 9630 is renamed to Exynos 980, just like how Exynos 9830 is renamed to Exynos 990.

Because Samsung isn't shutting down it's CPU manufacturing. They just want to lower the pressure from lower budget smartphones.
I think It's possible that Samsung might go with all exynos for it's future flagship(S21) if they and AMD can figure out a good GPU design.

Samsung might go with that with A51 but this is highly unlikely . That will kill the difference between A51 and A71 . My best guess is Samsung will use a new low midrange 5G or exynos 9630 with external modem for A51(might be A51s or A52 as well) and exynos 980/SD 765 for A71 . I guess exynos 980 will be e better option.

At this point I don't know why you would spend 400 euros plus on a new 4g phone and not wait for 5g at the mid range price to arrive.

A50 without 5G were for 350 bucks.
A51 with 5G will cost at least 600-700.

I have been waiting 5 months for this news, cmon midrangers 970 or 980 will be excellent.. I'll take mediatek 800 or whatever

It's highly unlikely that Samsung'll go with the exynos 980 or the Dimensity 1000 for A51. These SoC are near the high end.
Samsung might use external modem or low midrange Mediatek SoC .
They might use the Exynos 980 in A71 5G .
