Failure?! All future models are being design with no SD Card slot included and all because of new cloud storage technology.
32GB of internal storage is more than enough!
Failure not!
Stick with your 2009 model because it's a matter of time that all models have only great internal storage, no microSD and cloud support instead!
This one is a great smartphone that even with their dual-core processor (so called outdated hardware) handles well in battles with quad-cores...well built, quality hardware, quality design and great software.
Well done SONY!

Non removable battery only means (maybe) better design and less movable parts, it's up to manufacturers to release higher capacity batteries. But since they produce now yearly flagships, they surely prefer you buy them instead of replacing / upgrading those spare parts.
Just like with those nonsense 16gb (10-12 usable..) 2010-2012 phones with no option for MicroSD card whereas memory / storage prices are so low.

What's with Sony giving most of their phone Japanese names? I understand that it is a Japanese company but they are releasing their phones for the international market. The least they would have done was to pick a name that can easily be recalled. I have nothing against the Japanese but it would be a little awkward to tell my friends that I have a Sony Hayabusa cellphone. Maybe Sony can name their phones in English coz they might end up folding their company and might name their last phone Sony Harakiri.

Only me who thinks the Xperia S is the ugliest phone ever made? And why is it so big and fat with its small screen? Its got almost the same size as One X and Galaxy nexus but with a much smaller screen?
