After reading all the comments about the Pixel 4 being overpriced I have to conclude that very few people know that both on Amazon and the Google store the phone was $200 less right after they were launched and for no less than a month plus good trade in deals. And those claiming that Pixels don't sell well outside the United States, that's because they are still focused on that market. From the beginning they've tried to be a sort of "iPhone but with Android" with more wrongs than assertions. Their answer to the eternal debate about capacity is "unlimited cloud storage for pictures" and "buy extra space on Google drive". Not everybody likes it but it's just the same way for iPhone. However, in my case, I don't like iPhones at all but I find Pixels are at least one more alternative in the overcrowded world of Android phones

It's very important thing (not for Google though) considering that smartphones are status devices. I believe Pixel 4 series are the worst looking expensive flagship phones of the year!

Just recently sold my Pixel 3XL and got Galaxy Note 10+. Very happy with it. Don't even look at those new Pixels whatever the price is. I'm tired of Google's "we're not hardware but software company" b*****t and silly excuses!

Considering that this phone is the "Bust of the Year" (on MKBHD's Smartphone Awards) and a big let down, it should be priced no more than $350 for what it's worth.

I am so dissatisfied with Pixel 4 series specs
--Mediocre Battery life
-64 gb starting should be 128gb because the card are so cheap
-Fingerprint scanner should be there until Face Scanner becomes more "standard"
-3.5 mm Jack because Battery life sucks

$850 for a phone with a meager 128GB memory, no headphone jack and pathetic battery?!
My 1-year old LG has the same memory and internal storage, plus has external SD card slot, a bigger battery and a headphone jack. What's more, it cost $250 LESS! The Pixels are not good deals.

If each phone had an extra 400mA, then they could have been a really easy set of phones to recommend. But they simply are not good enough. Their killer feature is great stills. They don't do anything else well. If advising family or friends, I can't see me ever suggesting the Pixels. And that is despite the fact that everyone raves about the quality of my photos. My GF's S10e has a great camera, and a good form factor, ok battery life, certainly better than a Pixel 4. Decent screen, headphone jack.

Oh, that's very predictable thing. Just wait a bit more and we will see it selling for $350 - $400 :). Who cares anyway? There are better devices even for this price.

Funny 750 eur for a midranger with a flagship CPU definitely not worth.
I rather buy redmi K20 rpo for that price i can have 2 of them which is far better deal.

It seems that the Pixel is only selling well in the US. OnePlus 7, iPhone 11, S10, P30, etc. are actually selling better worldwide. While I have never touched the Pixel 4 in a store, I tried the Pixel 3, 3a, and 3a XL and it was something to forget. I have held and used the above mentioned phones except the OnePlus. They are actually better. Well maybe the iPhone has a rubbish IPS LCD screen and the S10 has poor software optimization, but overall it's better than either the Pixel 4 or even 3.
