probably means a starting price of 700+ too.

IpsDisplay, 13 Jan 2020OeMs you guys are a damn joke Sharp has the best amoled ... moreCan they produce like Samsung in volume? Otherwise it may end up only in Razr type OEMs. IGZO is a great tech but can it be made for mobiles in huge numbers in many hundreds millions within short time with excellent quality?

OeMs you guys are a damn joke

Sharp has the best amoled screens

Samsung is using stupid A-si diodes for their oled and this will chew through battery life like crazy

Sharp is there with their IGZO LCD and IGZO OLED

That would blow people's minds away interms of battery life

Similarly to oled that turns off individual pixels when you turn down the brightness

Sharp screens have this ability to drop parts of the screen with static images to as little as 10hz for incredible battery life

Look at how incredible the battery life is on the razor phone 2 (120hz LCD)

It looks good and all but quite still disappointed in some aspects. It may not be a big thing for you but for me it is. Not having a headphone jack is one thing. Amoled display? They're quite behind. 120hz is quite useless since everyone barely recognize the difference.

Newest red magic phone (5g version) will have 144hz screen. I'm not kidding.

First work on battery part. 1+7T have pathetic battery life if switch on 90Hz and with no dark mode. SOT hardly around 3-4 hrs (I have already raised a ticket in community, but team more focusing on sales rather than open issues). So think how the battery backup will be if screen refresh rate set to 120HZ even if they increase battery capacity to another 400mah.
