MediaTek unveils Helio G70 chipset for entry-level gaming phones

The Mali-G52 GPU is no match for the G72 used in the Helio G90, so this chip targets phones costing $150 or so.

I hope that this would mean that the old Mediatek processors like Helio A and P 20 series will be phased out for good. Let's hope for HTC to use Helio G70 for $150 or less.
