Two new Google midrangers appear, one is listed with 5G chipset

One of the phones might have a Snapdragon 730, the other is listed with Snapdragon 765.

        It's a shame they're hamstringing the smaller model with an older, slower in all respects SoC. They should offer the 765 on both, just not licence the 5G features (and omit the extra RF/antenna hardware) if they're trying to keep prices down.

            I hope this time they put 128GB as base storage instead of 64GB, I wanted to get the 3a XL but the 64GB did not cut it for me.

                If the 3a series is any hint these phones will cost 400 and 500. The Redmi K30 I have cost 220.

                    Their sales are so poor. They really need to make a cheaper midrange phone for like 299 euro. That will sell a lot more than all their sales combined since the first Pixel when marketed, and make sure it will be available worldwide. But Google likes to compete with the expensive Samsung's, a battle they can never win with the current design and specs.

                      OnePlus is closer to be the spiritual successor of the Nexus phone (flagship hardware for less), minus the stock Android.

                        If iPhone se 2 and one plus lite releases as rumoured, then it will not be easy for 4a.

                          3a is almost 500 euros in Sweden. Guess this will have an even higher pricetag.

But I think it will still be worth it for many people. I would guess the 4a would cost the same as the 3a but the 4aXL will be more expensive this time around.

                                It have to be seen what feature they remove this time to add 5G, if their prices raise a lot or if this time they put a microUSB connector to compensate the price... It'll be interesting if they also maintain the old back fingerprint sensor now that all competitors use more modern ones or side mounted or under display ones. At least at that price range Google pretend sell...

                                    the pixel 4a should/could be more succesfull than Pixel 4 even.
