Ah, the days Motorola made great phones, before that cancer named Lenovo came in.

This phone left a bad taste in my mouth in regards to Lenovo Moto era. Within two weeks of use phone resets became a daily occurrence and the volume button got loose and fell off. Too much customization resulted in too quivk plug and play manufacturing. Have never used a Moto since.

I freakin' remember this phone. How much would I CRAVE for a phone company to allow you to customize colors online to make the phone design virtually yours.
Imagine one that allows you to customize your preferred quad-fecta of camera lenses, your customizations on colors, button colors, and maybe even the amount of system apps installed to REALLY make the phone yours...I would throw my money at them immediately.

Man, Lenovo has just ruined the design and everything. I wish some other company bought it.

Motorola should make another phone like the Moto x small, old school with same features like now a days Motorola phones, Android 10 and all that, something like Apple did with the iPhone SE

This will always be a personal favourite. One of the most user friendly devices I've ever used and it proved that flagships shouldn't be judged on chipset.
The X series fell so quickly - the X2 wasn't a huge upgrade. The Force used the 808 but was otherwise decent. The Style was big for the time and overpriced. The Play was very overpriced for the specs. The X4 was the final death rattle of the X series, competing with the cheaper but comparable G5s Plus.

This was the one which changed the perception of smart phone. It was user experience which made it stand out at one end and on other end it had a unique design which was ergonomically worked out. Same design language was used for G and E series.
However, Lenovo ownership changed everything. They have literally butchered such a well thought out product line. Z series was promising, but again they killed it even before it can mature and evolve.
Even if they reboot the series with classic design in contemporary interpretation ( minimal bezels and all) and a pure Android updates on time, it can put Lenovo at top of the line in phone world.

I used a Moto X for 5 years, best phone for size and one hand use I ever tried.
The curved back was amazing and with high quality polycarbonate I didn't need a cover.
Moto Voice is still better in car department compared to assistant, Moto Display now it's basically I'm every phone with AOD or Ambient Display
Shame about custom soc (shitty modding) and hugged lollipop (final release)

Still probably one of my favourite phones. Had two in the day. Both customised. Loved the stock android of it all. But been with Apple since my one broke and not looked back.

Those were the days, when phones were to fit the user, an not the other way round.....
I'm so sick of all these almost identical looking oversized phablets from almost all manufacturers, that think that any device not oversized is supposed to have mediocre specs.
Give us back VARIETY! There are so many different users and use cases, how come they think a hammer is a solution for all problems?
I know the answer is good advertisements, tricking people into thinking they all need a hammer, even if that obviously is not the case.
Give us back different sizes, and different form factors, different battery sizes, interchangeable looks, .... All to better suit the individuals needs and wishes.
Something as basic as a keyboard phone is seen as oddity of a niche-product today. Crazy...
