So we can expect Pocophone F2 lite, F2 regular and maybe a PRO Model called a Poco F2 pro???

The pro version should come with highly overclocked SD856 to be 20% faster compared to other flagships.

jcariza10, 21 Jan 2020You know nothing about poco ..i actually own a pocophone f1 and an asus rog phone 2. i got the phone back in january 2019 to replace my razer phone 1 and galaxy note 8 because of the hype about it.

the poster i replied to said- "POCO is a new brand and don't expect cheap phones from them with a flagship chip."-- Poco the sub-brand was established 2018 and their first phone was the Poco F1 that was cheap at US$300 and it came with a flagship SoC at the time- the Snapdragon 845. that basically negates everything that the poster i replied to said, so what are you talking about that i know nothing about poco when i said "isn't that exactly the poco f1 back in 2018?"

OLED is mostly produced by the bigger brand with most consistent quality. And most LCD that we seen on most non-flagship devices are no where on par with even the cheapest OLED.

If manufacturer were all to employ good quality IPS like those used by Apple, I don't think there will be much complaints (cost aside).

I'll keep my wait and see attitude, take the leaks with a truckload of salt and rely on official communication from the company itself. I think Xiaomi had too much going on in 2019 for them to properly launch a successor to the Pocophone F1. The Redmi K20 Pro came REALLY close..if not for the fact that it had no MicroSD expansion slot. If the specs turn out great I'll spring for the Poco F2 at the end of this year or in 2021. I'll stick with my Poco F1 for the time being...

Poco is made by full plastic (back and frame) so it's cheap while Redmi has mix variant. Their low segment is made of full plastic for example Redmi 8A and 8. Their mid segment is made by plastic frame and glass back. Their higher mid and flagship is made by aluminium frame and glass back.

Poco is also have different UI (Poco Launcher) while Redmi n Mi series share their UI (MIUI).

Don't forget also Blackshark. Yes Blackshark is also not only made by Xiaomi but developed by joint company.

Yes the different between them is just a little and confusing. That's because of pressure of the cheat of BBK because BBK flooding the market with so many brand (Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme, Iqoo). So ridiculous.

The market is dominated by phones with AMOLED and there are no recent flagship options remaining with IPS other than the ZenFone 6. It is highly frustrating as someone who is still stuck using a phone from 2016 with Snapdragon 820 because there are no worthwhile upgrades without idiotic notches and punch-hole displays.
