Xiaomi becomes 4th largest smartphone maker in Western Europe in 2019

Proud of being part of it. In Eastern Europe.
This year plan to buy my 3rd Xiaomi phone - Mi 10, and I have "sold" at least 10 phones to my friends - some of them Flagships like Poco and Mi9.
Sadly I don't take any commission from these "sales", but nevermind - the best price / quality combination is worth advertising, even for free.

        I don't know about latest Xiaomi products, especially phones, but I have an almost three years old RN4X and it still works fine so I don't feel the need to change it. I think the next phone will be a Xiaomi one also.

          Too bad their software development sucks and the localisation is done by some random dude or fan that can't make it properly. Few months back, I ordered Mi9T for my father as I originaly wanted Huawei, but there was the known problem and uncertainity with google services so I chose Xiaomi. The software is just lacking with bad design choices and I prefer EMUI over MIUI any day. When I hold my P20 and Mi9T in hand, the Mi9T feels cheaply built. I will no longer buy another Xiaomi.

            Well deserved. I got my first Mi phone last year

              I reckon,'till the end of this year they'll be in the top three..not just in W.Europe,globally too..
              They make so much more than just smartphones,household appliances,tools,consumer electronics,scooters,bicycles,smart thisandthat....many of those products are just different than usual generic industrial crap we're all buying usually..and with fair prices...

                kind of dissappointed in them lately!miui 11 it's kind of a fail and their lcd's keep turning out yellow stains on them from the bad applied glue.also they advertise much more than they deliver (take mi note 10 for example, 108 camera and 5200 battery yet so-so camera and pretty bad battery life for the capacity).

                    Xiaomi deserves it for flagship, midrange, and entry level smartphone mamer at reasonable affordable price and build quality. Instead of go to oppo, vivo, one plus and huawei that their smartphone price tag is almost thesame as samsung.

                      What we need are aggressive carriers and phone shops that will overwhelm the customer with every handset on the market. And help educate the consumer slightly to find exactly the right handset for the buyer. - A smartphone supermarket is what the west needs. And every good phone on the market. Why keep limiting the consumer to just Samsung and apple?

I rate an 865 powered xiaomi handset way more than an apple device or some other devices. They are very good. I have two xiaomi devices. I used to thing the sun shined out of Samsung. I thought they where the one and only brand to stick with. However. When I first tried xiaomi. My skeptical thoughts instantly where turned into surprise. I couldn't believe it when I realised that some xiaomi handset where better than Samsung. That says a lot.

                        Not looked back since. However. Would like to try ZTE, Nubia Red Magic 5G. I think that will be very good too.

                          4th place already??? They have only just started in some parts of Europe...?

                          At this rate no 1 very soon.

                            Just bought a Xiaomi ocooker hand blender set.

                            Got a toaster by Xiaomi too.

                            Great products. Better than some German made items.

                            Waiting for Black Shark 3 5G to launch so I can compare with ZTE Red Magic 5G. And buy online.

                              May be 1st soon, why not, its like apple ans samsung together but for half the price. Phones, white/black tech, showcase stores... Even if its just phones, its hard to find alternative in 150/250/500euro price range, they sell just above the cost of materials, unlike others...
