Motorola Edge+ might be a flagship smartphone on its way to Verizon

24 January 2020
It's been a long time since the company put out a true high-end device.

No Verizon, it is the only reason I skipped Moto z3 and others under Verizon
We need global variants

Hopefully it'll be available on GSM carriers as well. Need an alternative to Galaxy Notes.

There's literally no way you can make a flagship-grade smartphone cheaper unless you skimp on build quality and material (I'm looking at you, Pocophone F1), so making the mods cheaper is indeed a good, if not brilliant idea after all. The idea and execution have already been done - the moto gamepad, 360 camera, and Polaroid mod are pretty much perfect, just slightly update the mods to make it much better to use than before.

Motorola has a very special place in my heart. I loved my violet RAZR V3i with iTunes support from my young adulthood days. Also, my very first Android smartphone was the ATRIX 2 since my brother was already using the first one. I do wish it had a fingerprint scanner like the original model did. In fact, the ATRIX was the very first Android smartphone to support that feature!

I hope it will be moto x. I love all generation moto x. Not the best at its era, but nothing was wrong from them.

my X4 is equaly fast as any other even much more expensive device.
It runs any app, i can call and send messages and does decent pics and videos.
No other is needed for me.
For that i really dont need to spend 1500 on Iphone or latest Samsung phone.
Because theses 1100 more expensive devices does litterary the same thing as my Moto X4.

Motorola flagship? Yes, I miss that. I'm still rocking my Moto Z2 Force with all my mods to this day, and it still turns head when I seamlessly change the mods in front of people.

By the way 100 people 100 tastes.
I have Moto X4 for more than 2 years now and is beautifull.

Razr 2019 is the first successful foldable screen, hopefully this edge bring something new because motorola is innovation not copycat like most brand

Wait...Does that mean it will have a curved panel??

Finally! Their last flagship was back in 2017. All they need to do is copy the Lenovo Z Series formula (The Z6 Pro was awesome) & apply it to the Moto brand with the Moto UI & global availability. I would love something like that.

A successor to the Z2 Force would be neat as well, but I doubt they'll go back that route...
