Anonymous, 19 Apr 2012I am quite intrigued by this phone. I am keen to know more ... moreIf you are asking for the Price of Galaxy S II in India then it costs about 28000 to 29000 INR i.e. Indian Rupees whereas this phone is said be selling around 22000 INR. Incidentally Nokia N8 too cost around the same line as this Lava phone i.e. aroun 21500 INR in India i.e. In Mumbai. And yeah its true that this company Lava isnt yet a very well known or recognized company in India, its one of the too many Minor mobile manufacturing company currently present in India so it will be difficult for people to persuade their minds to spend so much money on a minor brand specially when there is no info on the phone and its Hardware and Software's performances yet in comparison to its better known and better selling peers.

INR 22,000 is a bit too much to ask for for a lesser known brand.
INR 18,000 would be a perfect price as the performance of this phone is almost equal or even a little better than SGS2.. (See Benchmarks of Intel Atom processor)
(No offence to Samsung lovers, I am a big Samsung fan too!! :D)

I am quite intrigued by this phone. I am keen to know more about compatiblity issues (being on X86 architecture). Also how well the chip benchmarks and how its efficiency.
Also I would be very interesed for those who live in India how does this price compare to the price of the Galaxy S2.

GSMarena,
For the record, the Indian Rupee has its own SYMBOL (U+20B9).
If you can't use that, at least have the decency to call it "INR" and not some generic currency you just make up.
I'm just saying..
