Workers are working by the line. Makes the engineering dept a feat in itself. Sorry about the previous post with the se flat metal design the round sides is better just like on the 8 xr & 11. The back would no longer be glass but matte not brushed but color infused in a not so hard to find durable and light metal. The colors would now be complete from 11 with blue. The 2 cameras would be vertical again but not protruding and in one oval shape. With the cameras wouldnt it be nice if we had a larger sensor with more pixel count or more than that of the 11 which was custom made with 3x-5x optical zoom, adding 8k recording of up to 60 fps, & 4k (60 fps) for the secondary camera with ois. Also adding the longer slow motion recording maybe up to what cameras can do now adays. Then just having a singular super wide angle camera(which narrows the notch) on the front then just add a cropping feature for selfies but with 4k-stabilization & slo-mo. Still ip 68 or which ever best rating. I know it is alot of work but apple does alot of great industrial designs and this one would be wonderful unless we see better ones out there.

YUKI93, 28 Jan 2020faaaaaar better than stupid finger print readers? Really? ... moreYeah, it is. Speaking from actual personal experience. On iOS 12 FaceID was a bit slow sometimes, but on iOS 13 it's lightning fast and just does its job without me having to lift a finger.

I hope apple goes for the no home button display its basically better, in appearance and pushing the next design phase which is home-button-less. People will be looking forward to that as later phones have been adopting that, if they want the home button they can purchase the older ones. I've seen a design with an iphone se body and a full-screen display and it is beautiful, or then maybe adopt an iphone 8 sized body with full-screen-body and add face-id and power button fingerprint unlock which was adopted in the j6+ or an in-display fingerprint-reader which ever is more durable. And apple should avoid those screens that cause displays to burn with excessive heat just like what happens to samsung phones.

Actually nice, but light weight You can buy them for $39 or so prepaid and likely not prepaid. We just need a beefier smart phone at less than $200 or $150. Not asking too much. Such things require at least one complete feature, processing to run say trade workers tools or business software, or gaming, or camera, to suit one of those three user types.

i guess i am the only one really excited about this phone. i get to keep my home button and upgrade the internals and cam.. and dont have to carry around a brick in my pocket.. very very excited about that.. will buy on first day of release

I just hope that, they bring both phones: one for touchID lover (1. iPhone SE 2) and one for small phone+bigger display lover with side TouchID or faceID (2. iPhone 9). Would love iPhone 9: mini XR.

br, 28 Jan 2020The best phone Apple has ever made is iPhone 7 Plus. from t... moreWhile I do agree that the 7 plus is a very good phone (It'd be sad if I didn't, considering my daily driver phone is a Jet Black 7 Plus 128GB), I do think that the upgrades to charging (Qi wireless and 15w fast charge) make it worth getting an 8 plus. That, and the 8 plus has a newer SoC so it should be supported for longer.

In the article it says about full screen design since the iPhone X. Well that is not what apple has with the iPhones; they all have huge bezels and the largest notch possible.

I would be glad if the 3.5mm port makes a comeback just like the home button as I’ve held on to my iPhone SE without upgrading for long solely because of the 3.5mm port.

In EU due to VAT it would be way overpriced because we usually get at least around 20+ % price increase compared to prices in US dollars. So it should be below €449 in Europe to sell well due to old school design and only one camera.
