Out of Control, 29 Jan 2020But the 'deal breaker' as some would say, is a grotty LCD d... moreYeah but I do think the phones needs to be fast enough for your day to day job amoled or lcd , if you have to wait few seconds for loading basic apps like whatsapp fb insta, and forget playing games like cod mobile or pubg on above average settings what is the use of paying 23k you can get an amoled mobile for 10 12k and have fun watching videos and stuff. Just saying.

Farhan aka Wolverine, 29 Jan 2020Most people use case, so you know...In the most market there is a free tpu case with this phone, for for EU market.. Not, so i know, and is not just about plasticy phone, there is a more low end than mid, processor, there is a buggy OneUi 2.0, when gestures are enabled.. I mean, even Galaxy J5 from 2016 had alu frame, old A series was way better build with alu, glass, waterprof etc.. But then again, i guess for 200 euros it will be ok, soon.

Soon, this smartphone will be 200 euros, no more, just wait couple weeks for price drop. Anyway thats a real price, there is no a lot buyers who will pay 300 euros for plastic back and the frame (i hope so). We are in 2020 not 2014.

The flaw in your statement is that Samsung are one of only a small number of smartphone companies who have increased their sales this year, due mostly to the A series.

OLED/AMOLED is way superior, despite what those who are sad enough to own a phone with an LCD display claim. To me, the display is the most important thing as it's what you are looking, so the Honor 20 is a no go. With Samsung phones, you are rightfully paying a premium for the best displays on the market.

And the phone come with android 10.In my country now it costs $300

My honor 20 which was released in May 2019 wipes the floor with this (currently available for 22k INR). It's got better performance(>> faster processor, see antutu 380000 vs 125000 - approx values) + better build quality + blazing fast fingerprint reader (unlike the under display scanner on this) + better cam, fluid UI and skin (has not lagged or hanged since the day I got it, I don't even restart it for many days. I have seen samsung m30s with same processor and it lags a couple of times when we drop down the notification bar LOL, that too when the phone is relatively new ), faster charging 22.5 watt compared to 15 watt with 40 watt charger in box (Looking at you Iphone ). Apart from the amoled display I don't think anything is great in this model and we should not forget that these days amoled display is available in budget phones also which cost sub 15k so that alone does not justify the high price when there are much better options available in the same price range like k20 pro,realme x2 pro, honor 20 etc.

They are not pricing the handset right...The price should have been less than 18k INR.. For 24k INR why there ain't OIS (Motorola One Vision has it) & Water Resistant....
I still could not digest the crappy A50 camera. In compared with my A50, the major difference I see is NFC... Not bothered about bumping the Camera resolution and CPU version. Atleast expected Android 10...phooo.. Android Pie on A51 is a deal breaker (In Samsung India site, the Specifications show Android Pie).........I bought A50 last year only because of early availability of Android Pie......
Samsung is fast failing in the budget & mid category. Nokia 7.1 was released in Oct-2018 with Android 8.1 and immediately within couple of months there was Android pie update, Now already Android 10 is out for this handset, which means no os upgrade and only security updates for next one year...So they can save cost on the device software support.... The same strategy is applied for A51 by Sammy... They release A51 with Android Pie, within a month or two they will provide Android 10, then only one major update left ie. Android 11.... Why do they have to release these many phones every year..... M10, M20, M30, M40, A01, A10, A20, A30, A40, A50, A70, A80, A90, etc.....
