The issue with the waterfall display is grip and the probability that the screen may crack easier if it suffers from a bump/fall. This also comes at the expense of screen resolution.
Anyway Huawei's build quality is equivalent to Samsung's.

The phone looks great in person but I hate the screen design, it feels halfbaked and I prefer non curved design above it.
