Now it's ok I just asked him now :). He got the answer all it takes is power button + lock button. Still has some freezes but just do the solution and back again. Still he does is torrent downloads and facebook or Torrent downloads + youtube.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2012n8 has procedures to reboot without removing the battery. t... moreYup I know. He actually tried rebooting it for 12 hours. Now it's solved I asked him if he found the solution. It's power button + lock button. He said sometimes there are freezes but just put those two combinations and it's back again. Glad to know his not in trouble anymore. Because it's a waste if not able to use the full potential of your device.

AnonD-26870, 21 Apr 2012Speaking about N8(don't blame me, blame Samsung), hoped to ... moreActually, the Xperia S exhibits far more Chroma noise than the SGS3 camera samples shown here by FAR

The noise issue that the SGS3 samples here show is Luminance noise, but they're nowhere as severe VS the Chrominance noise levels of the Xperia S camera is at low ISO levels

The SGS3 camera image processing algorithm, and most likely slightly larger photodiodes (I suspect the sensor size MAYBE the same in both cases, which could either be 1/3.2" or 1/2.7", the latter being more likely) VS the Xperia S allows it to exhibit far superior noise control VS the Xperia S

The fact that the Exynos is a custom chipset, translates to Samsung's phones mounting a custom ISP (image signal processor, similar to HTC's ImageSense or Canon's Digic for example) that should be superior to general solutions out there that bring quality down (eg Nokia N9 VS Lumia 800, the L800 had poorer image quality VS the N9 no thanks to the ISP onboard Qualcomm processors, despite both phones having the same optics)

That said, the SGS3 camera does show some detail loss via blurring at this stage, most likely due to some relatively aggressive noise reduction processing algorithm (compared to compact digital PnS cameras) at play, since samples here show that it can capture a tremendous amount of fine detail without too much of a compromise (for a cellphone camera)

Though it'd be nice getting a sensor size at least similar to that found in an N8, it's not really feasible even by the technology standards of today

To get proper use of a sensor of that size, you must allow for enough room for light to travel and hit the sensor proper, and that translates to thickness on the phone's part (aka it's not marketable). Another method would be to increase the size of the lens and the aperture, but this will eventually lead to overexposure of images and possibly blown out image highlights and poor dynamic range unless a ND filter is applied, and forcing a wide angle with a larger lens and thin space for the light to travel (phone thickness) would introduce ridiculous amounts of barrel distortion that pinches inwards

Speaking about N8(don't blame me, blame Samsung), hoped to see the new Samsung flagship with a camera sensor almost(if not equal) same size as the old N8 one.

Too small and the result shows enough color noise like what Sony Xperia S produces(almost). Dissapointing!

very nice levels of noise suppression without losing much fine detail at all

Impressive dynamic range as well for a cellphone camera

Pity that noise starts to ruin things starting from just ISO320, but that's kinda expected for cellphone camera sensors (except the N8 and PV808)

Kudos to Samsung for this one =)
