There is a lot of cuts to avoid even more higher prices.

Mobile screens are not on pair with TVs screen. Also most have bad calibration.
Cellphones record very low bitrate videos (none of them even reach 80Mbps).
Cam software could be better if they wanted too. They cap because it is cheaper.

What Samsung calls Super ISO is basically this >>>

When pixels receive light information, that information is then subjected to analog gain or signal amplification before being converted into a digital signal by the analog digital convertor (ADC). ‘Native ISO’ is the baseline setting that a camera is set to that allows it to get the most detail out of an image, deviation from which can result in unwanted amplification or reduction of the sensor’s sensitivity to light. But with just a single native ISO, over-amplification can occur when conditions are very bright and unwanted noise can appear when an environment is low-light.

With the ISOCELL Bright HM1, Samsung has created a solution to mitigate these issues by incorporating Super-ISO technology (including one low and one high amplification ISO) into the new mobile image sensor. The inclusion of this technology allows the sensor to intelligently select amplification levels according to how the scene is lit, optimizing light-to-electric signal conversation and making cameras more versatile across a range of lighting environments.

The Last Oracle, 31 Jan 20202020 seems to be the year of Smartphone Camera Image Sensor... morePixel shift requires tripod.
Something like 1/4s is not enough for se sor to move and shoot.

For example, A7r3 needs 1s between each shot.
                          Too much for handheld.

2020 seems to be the year of Smartphone Camera Image Sensor shootouts. It would be interesting to see even further improvements to the NightShot images across various manufacturers. Also much better and sharper detail than the standard 12MP we've been shown until now.

The Mavic 2 Zoom has a unique feature called 48-megapixel super resolution photo, where the sensors shifts just so slights to capture 9 photos and then create a final composite image, with the 4 tiles the resolution of the sensor (12MP sensor creating 48MP photos). Something similar exists in the Olympus (and Panasonic) lineup. There is no reason why smartphones can't create much higher resolution photos from shifting the sensor around. It could stich various photos into a one single one, with a much higher resolution photo. This can also be used for zooming in or out.

Well the apple will trademark ISB-C instead of USB-C despite it will be completely the same thing and the charging box which cost 1 dollar to make and cable 1 dollar to make will be sold for 25 bucks each.
1 dollar for chargr or cable and 24 dollars for apple logo painted on each of them.
And they will call it an innovation and something completely new.

This super iso going to be same fun.
                              my bets were staked.

These trademarks and patents are getting out of hand. Guarantee it doesn't do anything that magical with iso.
If there are any benefits it's more from the absolutely unreasonable continued use of 12mpb sensors supposedly having 1.8 micron pixels. Or the 2.4 micron combined pixels of the 108mp sensor.
