None of them lag.
Android One being better than custom Android skins argument was valid 3-5 years back,not anymore.

I like clean and unrefined android no mess no fuss etc.
For example One UI by samsung have preinstalled samsung web brownser but also a google chrome both acts like a part of the OS and both cant be deleted.
Also both of the runs on bacround collect data and eats your storage and ram.
This is just one of many examples of problems with UIs no matter the brand.
And the updates are very important because it will make yur device fresh healthy and without too much bugs.
Just look at LG or HTC for example barely no updates and barrely selling same goes for lowest of the low samsung phones such as was J series.
Waiting whole year or more for an android update and asking one self if he gets or not another. This doesnt seems right.
But i agree there are plenty people which doesnt update anything either they dont know or they are afraid that they will loose more than gain.
I should know that very well i run a phone shop company in my country.
And sometimes customers are very weird and very strange.

Compared to that some new SD6xx Cpus are faster.
And the most Noia phones uses cameras from Sony corp. And as far as we know sony does decent cameras so your statement couldnt be true.
Thus to my very honest opinion.

It's only the tech geeks who think that they cant live without updates and clean droid. I am a tech geek, but not so much that i care to have android one and pay double the price just cause it's pure droid. For me matters more about the hardware on the phone and lower price. I take flagship hardware over middle class hardware with clean droid that is with same price way before.

Nokia should seriously consider with the naming scheme. Sounds more like a software version. It's a big big turn off for me atleast. Until they change their naming, I am not coming back to Nokia.

Chinese brands do not innovate or invest, they just clone and offer cheaper, that's about it, at some point real innovation will get slapped then they will kind of have nothing to clone and sell. At this point the market will be oversaturaed of chinese crapp and people wait for innovation as their disposibles are going kapput once per Mounth. At this point, the real brands (if still there) will start to retreat from china and look for better location where they can manufacture without their innovation being cloned.

Other so called competitors barely updating some phone are lucky to get more than 1 android update. And in most cases people waits many many months to get an update.
Compared to that Nokia is a brand which is like a dream.
You will understand that when you will have one.
Because you buy a phone from a brand which never uupdates and is stuck with many prebulescent bugs you cant clearly know.
