potato4k, 04 Feb 2020I wish all carriers would support eSIM. I mean eSIM support... moreThe resistance to esim is, in my opinion, coming from the telcos. They do not want customers to be jumping all over the place finding the best service. They're used to holding customers as captives.

HMD better sell Nokia and buy SIEMENS Mobile brand for mobile and Android smartphones.Because me and other people really miss Siemens Mobile brand and phones like Siemens C35i and Siemens SX for smartphones. And I told im that and they disagreed.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2020Bbbbut they use the name Nokia. They are definitely the old... moreIf Nokia is dead why is HMD Global still alive?
See what happened to Blackberry, TCL will no longer support blackberry devices.
They both came at same time and look still Nokia Mobile is alive and Blackberry is dead.
Nokia 9 was truly innovative phone but people bashed it due to previous year processor but never look HMD is a startup they can't purchase latest flagship processor on bulk like Chinese BBK Electronics.

I wish all carriers would support eSIM. I mean eSIM support is terrible, and many carriers that do support it only for their postpaid service. I don't understand why it's complicated. Doing eSIM will cut their cost since they don't don't need to make the plastic SIM card.

fruitcake, 03 Feb 2020We All want Nokia back were they use to be at the Top,but c... moreThe real Nokia has no interest in making phones. The stated that smartphone's market has become a commoditie market in which there's no way to make profit from added value. In other words, people is too cheap to mind work ethics and environment when they purshase a phone, so they moved to markets in which their R+I yields more profit and stability.

We All want Nokia back were they use to be at the Top,but companies using the Nokia name to sell phones is totally wrong,Mr Elop & Microsoft downgraded Nokia using Windows, and now HMD should not be using weak chips in Nokia phones, but they do not seem to want make Nokia successful,so these phones might be a waste of time & money, with Samsung now wanting to compete more in the mid range phones,HMD might be struggling again
