The naming scheme is fine in the S and Note series, but inexplicable in the lower (A and M) series. Like A50, A50s, then A51.
Anyway I'm not going to purchase the S20. It's not just pricey but it has a 2-year-update scheme only (whereas Apple does 5 years in their iPhones). iPhone may seem expensive, but that's because there is the US-China trade war (if this resides or Apple can shift their production to factories in other locations, price will drop significantly, projected price drop is USD $120-150). Hope the coronavirus outbreak will teach Foxconn and Apple a lesson. I'm done with my S10e and have replaced it.
However, it seems like an interesting phone, especially the 120Hz OLED display and cameras. Though the UI still needs to be faster, still. OneUI 2 is still not fast enough in my opinion (tried a friend's S10+). Let's hope the S20 will debut with the promised Sd865 chipset in most markets but Europe.

Phones become part of life.Sometimes they are used as reference for the time in which remember some past events.
Thanks Samsung now you are making life easy.
Maybe I will not buy any flagship but still there number will be some part of my memories.
My first love was when I was using S3.

Apple should do the same for iPhone. Year is built into the name. This year's iPhone should be called iPhone 20. Get rid of the S-line. Can even have it in Roman numerals like the Super Bowl except 50.
