OnePlus design patent shows hidden cameras with a rotating cover

Four different designs imagine how the camera lens can be hidden from sight (and protected from scratches) by a round rotating cover.

Old phones used to have the... moreyeah, back when the camera lenses were actually scratch-able, these days you have virtually no chance to scratch it unless you're wearing diamonds in your pocket. These days it would server nothing except for an excuse to ask an extra 20$ for the phone.

      I bet the design was again inspired by some greek Zeus, Norse Odin and whatever-god-Indians-made-up and it cost 100 million dollars to draw, like 1+'s telly logo - https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_tv_naming_and_logo_announced-news-38671.php

      Anyway all of these are extremelly hideous and with a bit of luck none of these will ever become real.

        This is an old-school solution. Old phones used to have these to protect the camera lens from scratches.

        Look up K500i, K750i, etc...
