5G speeds, yeah, but what about the US? Where are the 5G Bands for T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T? I guess they don't want to their amazing phone to dominate the west too hard.

Proprietary solutions allows much of the heat to be localized around the charging adapter, thereby prevent overheating at the battery and thereby eliminating the chances of battery degradation overtime.
Look into how fast charging works.

Dude, only the pieces of an iphone max costs about $490. This is more than retail price of mi9. Then you have software, licesing fees, taxes, certifications, marketing and R&D money used etc ...
There is no way phones like Iphone Pro Max, Xperia 1, Samsung Note10+ and Mate 30 Pro cost less than $650 to be made.
There is a number of units they needs to sell at least to avoid money loss.
Reason some companies are facing money issues with mobile sector.

If you can get 450 cycles by charging with 10W, you wont get same 450 cycles using 20, 40, 0r 60W.
While geeks celebrate 60W, chinese companies are laughing because tons of phones will arrive to change battery within 10 months.

Besides the real marketing strategy would be selling that device triple of the devices build price given that labour cost and development cost need to be considered.

Btw mi 9 is gorrilla glass 6 in both like the s10 but it scratches easily from the front even in the first month even with the same gorilla glass as I saw on many reviews

Real world performance incorporates a lot of other factors including OS.
This kind of cost cutting doesn't affect the end user.
It's not like 1000 dollar flagships are costing more than 450 dollars to make. Difference between production cost of Chinese flagships and 1000 dollar flagships in merely 100 dollars not more than that. They aren't that better.

When they do not.
Sub-$500 flagships is sold for this price not because those that charge $1000 are ripping off only, but because they cost much less to be made.
If you put the best pieces available out there, no way a phone will cost less than $600 to be made.
