My predictions:
More years of software update
Android One
Introduction of Google's framework for folding device
Stadia... I hope not.
It's nice to see Google, Microsoft, and AMD having a good connection with Samsung.

The Last Oracle, 06 Feb 2020Whoa you nailed it.
Also make Android smoother and not s... moreAndroid is already smother with fluid fast refresh rate displays on Smartphones plus better battery life, functionality, customizabilty, security, etc.
iOS struggles with multitasking and app reloads. It needs to work on true multitasking, providing latest features early, better design, better use of the SOC and bundle better hardware as well. Also not release half baked beta updates to devices.

Walter C. Dornez, 06 Feb 2020I mean, I'd be happy with 4 years of updatesThat is the problem with Google and your network operator selling you the idea that you should expect your device costing your over a thousand bucks is considered useless after two years. You're even happy with it just getting two more years of operating system support.
Meanwhile, my six year old Windows PC, that cost less than a thousand bucks, keeps getting weekly and monthly updates and patches. With no end in sight.

Google announces they'll hand over control of Android development to an alliance of manufacturers. Releasing consumers from the greedy claws of both Google and all network providers.
That is the ONLY thing coming out of Google that would make me happy.

It will be even more exciting when Google show more responsibility (rather than waiting on other Security agencies to do its job) in its Play Store by banning malware-lace apps from Shenzhen.
