Does that mean all chinese phones/components will have issues being manufactured or is it just Iphones?
Huawei, Xiaomi and others havent said anything and pretty much all their components are from China.

This is pure sad and heartbreaking, on humane as well as tech grounds. Hope they find a cure for it soon. People who already succumbed to it, may they rest in peace.

Previously the soon-to-be iPhone 9 was supposed to be in full production in March; now it's likely in April. Here in Canada that means it will start selling in May. Count on other smartphone makers to have similar production delays.
