    [deleted post]Well, Xperia is the final core division of Sony who has major telecommunications technology inside of it, such as the currently on-role 5G, after Vaio has been sold to another company, and Sony planned to interconnect all of their gadgets with telecommunication to ease usage of goods, and as I say, Xperia is the base of Sony telecommunication. If Xperia/Mobile shutdown, all technology division of Sony outside Xperia, especially famous PlayStation, will have a hard time to implement newer technology, including future 6G or newer WiFi, and IoT in Sony products will be a mess, as no telecommunication division left in Sony. IoT is a thing now, dude, if not perfect, at least presented now...

        MWC is a huge event. Imagine if someone that has virus but still does not know yet, goes to the MWC. Could easily spread virus to thousands of people.

                  Other companies like Samsung, Omnivision and Canon have much inferior tech.

                  Nikon, Panasonic, Fuji, Leica, Hasselblad, Ricoh, Olympus all use Exmor.
                  Many cameras (most compacts) from Canon have exmor too.

                  Many movies are recorded by Sony video cameras.
                  Many TC channels use Sony video cameras.

                  Cars use sony sensors.
                  Security cameras have sony sensors.

Google and the others are just not seeing the bigger potential. Pixel 4 was hated because they didn't even think of using IMX586 which is popular at the time.

                        So Sony's 12MP sensors can still beat Sony's 48MP sensors thanks to companies with perfect camera algorithms like Google, Apple and Samsung?

                                      For the first time, Sony is not defending their MWC championship. They're always the Best in MWC starting from XZ Premium which as far as I know.
