Redmi 8a dual... Dead on arrival... Realme C3 is a clear winner here... This should have been Redmi 9A with recently announced Snapdragon 460 to take on Realme C3's Helio G70...

Why the F* all redmi Phone are 6 inch+ right now? Where is the small one..? My redmi 4x is aging, need a replacement, but everything is note size right now...

PlayerDead, 11 Feb 2020I personally consider depth camera as fake camera. Same can... moreyou forget 3D Tof camera, also we have SL 3D camera in iPhone flagships and thermal (Lepton) in Cat flagships, i don't know about these function, but it seems 3D Tof and SL 3D do same thing, about thermal i don't think that if it is good for normal users. so we have 4 Cameras Useful Normal, Ultra-wide (which capture Macro too like P30/Pro) Periscope Telephoto and Tof 3D camera for portrait/bokeh. or it can be 3, Telephoto 2x to 3x lens instead of Periscope for zoom and instead of VGA Tof camera instead of portrait/bokeh effect, ig P30 Pro is best option maybe even better than Mi Note 10 Duo's option btw maybe we need two telephoto lens for better zooming in 2x range i don't know but as far as i know 2x Telephoto lens in it is for portrait. about Macro camera one of the users of here told P30's Ultra-wide lens is better 2MP Macro, but about new 5MP Macro i don't know.

Alex 94, 11 Feb 2020The same device like 8a except 2 mo depth sensor and new co... morei have LG K10 and it's barely Lags with 2GB ram, maybe for new phones (like with Android 9.0 Pie) is different.

PlayerDead, 11 Feb 2020I personally consider depth camera as fake camera. Same can... moreIts only purpose is portraits cause not everyone can make Google like portraits with just a single cam and macro can be useful considering your needs and black and white is claimed to improve low light but not much evidence exist and ultra wide and telephoto are expensive especially telephoto that's why most entry to mid range phones have depth sensor or ultrawide

Aside from SD439 rest is quite good

I personally consider depth camera as fake camera. Same can be said about macro camera but it is better than depth camera. Another camera in the same category is the Black and White camera.

Main camera, wide angle camera and telephoto camera are the worthwhile cameras.

The same device like 8a except 2 mo depth sensor and new colours. I will wait for redmi 9 with g70,cause sd 439 is not that fast. Also, never buy phone with 2 gb ram, always will be some lag and phone will be very slow after 5-6 months.

Fulljack, 11 Feb 2020imo a fingerprint scanner would be better than dual camera.Guess what's more expensive.

These 2MP "depth sensor lens" is just a gimmick marketing so they can advertise the handset for having two cameras. It offers almost no benefit to consumers. Fingerprint sensor is highly more useful.

imo a fingerprint scanner would be better than dual camera.
