Very very very expensive!!! Not only mi 10, but also s20 series. New models will also be more money in 2020. New features really worth this money? Game over! No more sales.

That is why marketshare of Android is more since it simply works without any hassles unlike iOS.

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2020Most people switch since there are many improvements availa... more1. Most android users don’t understand the ways they are tracked/monitored when using android phones/google services.
                      2. A good part of them use them because they evaluate a smartphone based on [specs]/(price) and see them as better value.
                      3. Another part are absolutely fine with using google services (such as search, gmail, gdrive, photos, maps, etc.) as well as social media like facebook, instagram, whatsapp, etc. and even apps like tiktok - which means they either dont value their privacy and dont care that their online experience, information sources and search results are dictated by algorithms that have a single purpose: generate clicks, views, ad spaces, and product sales for other companies. Thus the user becomes a resource of google and is steered towards 3rd party ads and products that generate the most revenue for google.
                      4. And the biggest chunk of android users are those of modest incomes who buy lowend and midrange devices. (majority of android devices out there are low/midend)

Whereas apple users care more about the user experience and expect things to work all the time, every time, 99.9999% of the time. They want devices that just work and dont bug out, miss big updates, or are left behind newer devices after a couple of years.

An iphone from 2-3 years ago is still relevant today and works flawlessly no matter what you throw at it. Oh and it will get all the updates for another 2-3 years to come. Which adds value. Not to mention top notch security and user privacy.
When you look at a 2 y.o. android device in comparison, that will be mostly irrelevant as its not running the latest OS version, it might not have received the latest security patches, etc.

Besides this, you have the freedom to use iphones without ever touching a google service, app, or website, and you still have access to a highly curated app store, with fully verified apps.

Android is a mess of an operating system, both in terms of its core design and operation, as well as from a developers point of view. As well as from a consumer standpoint. You never know what to expect with it and from it. Its not consistent, its not rock-solid, and you never know when its going to fail you somehow. Yeah, you have customization options, but whats the point? Its like customizing a faulty car that breaks easily.

Other people just want something they can fully rely on and lasts and works for longer.

Over saturated, the background is over expose and it lacks of dynamic range. Well good for fellow indians. Take a picture of that cat before shaving its skin and make it a bag, shame.

Plus they don't cost much. Most users can be super happy using a Budget Android device in 2020 and get a great user experience.
So they don't mind switching devices every 2 years.

Android ecosystem is filled with choices like a buffet, you can cherry pick what you want while Apple is like a jailer which decides what you get and what you don't.

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2020If it has a High Res audio DAC and a headphone jack, I'm so... moreBut Mi 10 doesn't have a headphone jack, while the V60 does. So the V60 is the winner imo, why make a audio phone without the option to use your headphones with a stupid dongle? Doesn't make any sense imo.

Planning to get the V60 this year or at the beginning of next year. Headphone jack, flat screen, hopefully it isn't giant like the G9. Mi10 is no option for me, wanted to switch to another brand but they just give me 0 options to switch because all companies keep removing the jack

MagicMonkeyBoy, 11 Feb 2020Rubbish... Besides... Who wants a phone zlonger than 3 year... moreYou just agreed with my point, that Android is disposable. :D

I mean seriously, show me an Android user here who keep their phones longer than 2 or 3 years. Android is disposable, as intended. Even Google doesn't support their own premium flagship for longer than 3 years. Majority of the Android handsets out there are not even receiving security updates promptly.

It has a phone jack and the same camera. It's plenty fast as a phone, too.
