                  Youtube Vanced is simply the best. No drawbacks.
                  Disabled apps, analytics, less RAM consumption, more controls over official YouTube app.
                  With microG, you are good to go.

                    But the locked bootloader is a deal breaker.

                    Even if there are no Custom ROM s for a device, rooting and others things should be available. Without bootloader unlock, p40 pro and other Huawei devices are left lacking.

                        Beast phones. I will try them for sure, regarding gms I am not social addict so I don't care about Facebook etc. The only thing I will miss is Google maps and YouTube.

The app is based on the original Youtube app & modified by trusted XDA developers. It is safe to install & use.

                                        Give it a shot. If you don't like it, you can always uninstall it.
