There's a reason why every single smartphone company has stopped making compact flagships. Obviously, if these phones sold enough, then they wouldn't have done that.
On the internet we keep reading comments about people asking for compact flagships, but these companies are not gonna make a phone for couple thousand people. Their priority will always be to make best-sellers.
Now that clamshell-style foldable phones are here. People wanting compact phones will finally have something to satisfy them.

I choose Note 10 for the cameras, headphone jack and cheaper price. I don't game so the 865 will be wasted on me.

I would rather have a better macro camera module than zoom. Food shots are more popular in social media than shots zooming at buildings. They should create a module specifically for shooting food.

Tempting hardware for price ratio, as usual with Xiaomi, but so long they use MIUI and so long only support you can get when you find some problem is on forums, instead from companie users support....it is not worth a money.
I can always recommend Xiaomi for 100 or 200€, but spending more is just throwing money away.

Well at 10x zoom the Xiaomi is actually better than Huawei P30 pro despite it's supposed great zooming capabilities:
