I can't stand Samsungs oversaturated colors especially that electric blue sky and poison green grass. To me that's a failure. Damn 1200.00 for a phone that does not even shoot 8k and has 8gb of ram only and is still tuck on UFS 2.1 sorry but this is just stupid.... A person needs to be retarded to buy this JUNK for $1200.00 im sorry not trying to be mean but damn for this price i get S20 Ultra with more ram storage and bigger bat with 108 mp camera and 8K Recording sorry sony should just give up.... Also sony makes the cameras for everyone else and all they offer is standard 12mp cameras and one 8 in front sorry sony its time for u to give up and just keep making modules because even that your losing to samsung out of 4 camera 3 of them and the TOF sensor are from samsung and even the Pannel is samsung i guess when you outsource parts you have to charge more..... What a piece of junk

Sony phones usually have decent specs, but always over-priced condidering they are NEVER top contenders. The Experia 1II doesn't seem to break this mold. It will probably not have as good of cameras as the Samsung S20 (regular) yet will be more expensive. Thank god Sony doesn't price their cameras like this; I'm a real fan of their current A6000 series.

Shame there is no 8K, sharper stills and bigger&sharper&5x tele camera. What you get instead however - great colors and no purple fringing.

That is just over over priced.
Well, it was all wet the entire 8 hr while it lasted...
Shame tho, that 3.5 mm jack and stereo speakers I really digged.
So, no Sony for me.
Aint givin away that kind of money for a phone even if it is this good.

10 II is better than 10+ at almost everything, also €80 cheaper.

Kinda disappointing tbh. They should release a 128 GB version of the Xperia 1 II, it would be a bit cheaper. I don't need 256 gigs and pretty sure most people don't need that much space either.

Is the Xperia 1 II hype train derailed already? The price is unreachable to the masses despite no advertisements being made. I hope they can still make profits once it's hugely discounted like what's happening to LG. It's nice that Sony's making a huge comeback (just because the headphone jack is back). My ATH-M50X will be proud.

If you don't want a Chinese phone you are pretty much stuck with Samsung, so I appreciate Sony's effort but I think they are a bit too pricey.
