But with a ne... moreincorrect...samsung never caught up with nokia in the dumbphone department...even now nokia's dumbphone sales are still higher than samsungs.....all it did was make sure that it had a head start in the smartphone department over nokia with cutting edge technology smartphones. nokia smartphones are no match for sammy smartphones except for design,which i admit that nokia has always been good at.

Samsung took 14 years to catch up with nokia. But with a new great OS(I own a Lumia 900), it won't take long before Nokia get's back on top.

This is big Hoax and unbelievable report by sammy. because in other countries their sales are down the SII is very expensive phone.So i say Nokia is still number 1.because they have cheap and durable phone.this not true.

The report is that Samsung has shipped more phones than anyone else and as such is now Number-1 phone manufacturer in the world. Well, my reaction is, that position is only temporary. I am one of those that bought Samsung Galaxy S2 but now the phone is faulty. The so-called Super Amoled screen has gone dark. This shows that their phones are not properly made. When people realise that their highly priced phones are not well made, they will stop buying the rubbish that is samsung phones. That is why Nokia will regain No 1 spot pretty soon. I personnally will not buy samsung phones anymore. My Galaxy S11 has disappointed me. I am pretty sure I am not the only one. Since I updated it to ICS, it has been working erratically and now the screen has lost its brightness. The best I can do at this moment is to take it in for repairs. Iam disapponted and disgusted. Even when they were making symbian phones, their phones never worked properly. My instruction to you is that You need to think twice before buying samsung. Sab2244 in the UK.
