AnonD-864704, 29 Feb 2020I don't know why this kind of comment has come in? Are you ... moreKnee jerk reactions are always funny. So much easier to disregard the larger picture and focus on a shinny little corner and call everything working A-OKay right?

This country doesn't have proper 4G rollout, non-exiseant 5G presence (at least for the next forseeable 3~7 years or more) and this whole NavIC is a drum to beat on when far more important things (just talking basic infrastructure hre) need immediate attention.

Shameless brands pandering to the inferiority complex of the locals to show that they too are "bhai-bhai" in a shared vision where one just wants to make money and the other wants to put up a false glowing image, infuriate me enough to write off their entire product line, as a matter of principle.

Realme X2 pro, their 2019 flagship was the best budget phone out there even beating Redmi k20 pro and Zenfone 6 by small margin to take the budget flagship crown.

Realme X50 pro, it's successor looks weak especially since it's sporting the same old camera sensor. Disappointing!

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2020How can you say that? Always be proud to be an Indian!!So if it works like everything else in India, NavIC will be great on paper but lacking in implimentation, around half the coordinates will be exclusively reserved for 50% of the society, can't eat non-veg while using the service, we will have to pay a bribe to use the system when we really require it and elected "rulers" will have a VVIP GPS lane.

              Proud parroting indeed.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2020Very cool for India to have its own Satellite navigation sy... moreAs I understand it, GPS works by connecting to different sources at the same time.

For example, let's say there is like a herarchical order that goes like this:

                  1) First, they try to get data from Global GPS systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo). If they can get info from any of those 3, they use that to position you in a map and give you information. If for some reason there's something blocking the signal, then, it will start to switch around with Beidou and Navic (which in a case where you are in India are the local options) to gather info about your position.

Of course, this is all an example, but I believe that in real life they don't gather info from all available satellites, since that would mean more battery usage.

The Realme 6 series will prove their inexpensiveness again. Hold my words

BTW my question is when you switch on GPS will it show GPS or as NavIC

This is so cool. Realme are one of my favorite companies. Can't complain about the prices. Quality is top class. And the designs are georgous.

I think it would be interesting to see a review from GSMArena in regards to Black View. - These phones look really tough. Modern. And a smartphone first... Thermal imaging cameras. A phone with real night vision.
