          I here in India see many people using Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo phones along with Samsung.

          I just checked the data online and Chinese brands have significant market share in Europe and dominates in Asia.

          Also, Chinese phones do get regular update from my experience.

          You could say the Chinese phones are bad a decade ago, but now most of them make good quality phones both hardware and software.

          You can try OnePlus phones they make pretty good flagship phones and have good software support as well and at the same time won't cost you a fortune like Samsung and Apple flagship phones.

Even the people onto heavy gaming (since that doesnt require that much optimisation,and with those chipsets you can play anything). But other than that,who buys? Romanian and haven't seen absolutley anyone own an oppo or xiaomi phone...
