i know one thing more number of mail or calls will go in company then only we will be able to get ics otherwise due to the promotion of galaxy 3 they will not give us at any cost. and one thing more why they have officialy give it to china for i9100g. as they also know that our indian market has more purchasing power. then also this is bad i think they will fool us.

hello savar i don't think so that they will give ics for i9100g easily as they have to promote galaxy s3. What is your opinion?

hello i am from india i have called samsung customer care. they have right now no plan to roll out ics for i9100g. so its my request all of u to dail at customer care and e.mail them so that they come to know that how many person re demanding otherwise we will not get the ics. so please call them at alternal days. then they have to give us the ics officially. like this it will create pressure.and they have to rool out ics

I have Samsung Galaxy SII I9100G model since almost 8 months now and i really load the phone quite a lot but my phone has never hung itself even once the only difference b/w the 9100 and 9100g is the they are using different chipsets other than that 9100g is an advance model as Samsung has solved the overheating problem and battery drainage problem as opposed to 9100.
Its just a myth that the 9100 is available all over the world and 9100g in a few places so it is bad NO IT IS NOT i really like the phone and i'de recomende it

why are you all complaining about the g version.. i dont find and defect in it.. for me it works very smoothly and as a matter of fact has a better battery life that the non g version.. and moreover all the apps and stuff wrk wid the same efficiency as the work in the non g version..
as for the ICS update.. there are lot of bugs for the non g version.. samsung is fixing them and vil launch the update late may as told by samsung serbice center in india.. so be happy to get the fixed update and no bugs..

GUYS PLZ DON,T BUY GALAXY S2 I9100G MODEL......other wise u will be realize coz that phone is not a good phone. lots of hanging problems ..camera hanging ,music player hanging.handset not working good....when u surf the net long time the mobile will be hanged plz don,t buy this phone samsung cheating the custmor...........samsung also did not placed in this model in to the own website...samsung display only galaxy s2 i9100 model.......not a g model.....im very suffred for this mobile..i want replacement for the phone.coz i pay for orginal galaxy s2 i9100 model .not a duplicate g model.only i buying this phone before 30 days ..............so i will regret so I SUGGEST TO ALL OF YOU PLZ DON,T BUY I9100G MODEL......

why are you guys believing a Fake?
No ICS is released and dont expect in mails..
Samsung isnt a black market to send it only specific people.
according to a resource from Samsung. i9100G will receive an Update Late May. so Kindly wait

Kan, Im sure folks here would like to see a screenshot of 9100G non Chinese version running ics 4.0.3.
Also we have all shared our email addresses but there is no one who has recieved the files. Hope you will able to send them before Samsung rolls out via OTA.
