What I wanna know about black shark 3 is about the new gamepads 3.0. The 2.0 versions could not be used as a normal gamepad.

AnonD-731363, 03 Mar 2020Well phones are great but lack of 16GB ram maybe a bit bett... moreTrue but who really actually needs a 16GB RAM in a smartphone?! 16GB RAM is a lot even for laptop or PC... Then what you will say about Apple - literally all their iPhones and iPads have 1, 2, 3 or maximum 4GB RAM!!! Also the bigger size of the battery doesn't always mean better endurance rating and longer lasting - for example Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has 5260mAh Li-Po battery and 95h endurance rating but Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro has 4500mAh Li-Po battery and 114h endurance rating so only the amount of mAh itself doesn't mean nothing. Not to mention that Asus Rog Phone 2 has 30W fast charging while both new Black Shark 3 phones support 65W fast charging (both with included 65W charger in the box)...

I'm assuming the GSMArena team is still getting all the information before putting up pages for these phones because I'm waiting eagerly to see if the pro has the minimum LTE bands to work in the US without issues.
Other than lack of Expandable Memory (unfortunately saw this coming), this phone is darn good for the price tag. Half the cost of the Galaxy S20+ and despite not having expanded memory, telephoto lens, or IP rating, the front-facing speakers, headphone jack, and giant battery justify me getting this over the S20+ for my needs.

Well done to Black shark team. A true gaming phone. Very very impressive. Everything about this phone is a huge upgrade from the BS 2 Pro. They have done an excellent job. Gaming at 90hz is still formidable. I use 90hz currently on my gaming phone. Black shark have severely upgraded every aspect of the phone. A complete rethink it seems.
This appeals very much to me and other gamers.
Time for Pubg and CoD.... Right now on my gaming phone... Then check aliexpress to see if it is possible to order direct from China...

Well phones are great but lack of 16GB ram maybe a bit better screen and also ROG2 had 6000 mAh compared to 5000 of blackshark phone.
Charging is excellent and magnetic connector is nice to have.
But still phones are too pricey for what they have to offer.
Maybe for 500 good deal but 650 is simply no.

The real drive of that project was because of the Switch's SoC which is the Tegra X1. That mobile SoC used to run Android devices so why not they put Android in the Switch.

I just only want the raw power of flagship smartphone on the Switch so all devs will stop complaining about trying to squeeze out the full potential of an old processor.

So, in 2020 Black Shark is finally getting old 90hz technology, which Asus Rog phone had back in 2018? Black Shark is two years behind competitors, and this phone is already dead on arrival. For a gamer, there isn't a single reason to choose this device over Asus Rog Phone 3, Nubia Red Magic 5G, or Lenovo Legion which will come in just a few weeks and will have the same Snapdragon 865 + higher quality 120/144hz screens.

Vegetaholic, 03 Mar 2020Lol, like you ever see difference in gaming between 60hz or... moreYou couldn't be more wrong buddy. As a veteran PC gamer, i can easily tell 60 locked & 120+ FPS apart, especially on a FPS or Action-Adventure title. You shouldn't speak about things you aren't familiar with.
Mobile games are a joke though, so I personally don't really care about high refresh-rate displays on a smartphone.

7.1", Phones(or, phablets), these were the size tablets several years back. There are no smaller powerful phones available these days.
Blackshark is a good phone/phablet/tablet for its price.

Vegetaholic, 03 Mar 2020Lol, like you ever see difference in gaming between 60hz or... moreYou think it's a gimmick because most of the major devs lock it to 60. It's only last year that they decided to turn off the FPS limiters. Your eyes will soon notice how buttery smooth the animations are with higher refresh rates.
In PC, high refresh rates aren't a gimmick either, it's a premium standard. Many >$200 monitors can output more than 60hz nowadays which are as low as 75hz to 144hz.
