    Antutu's score is around 510.000 on prototype...over SD855+
    It provides real NPU
    It carries new Cortex A77.
It carries the last Mali G77 (considering the newer architecture, you can estimate a single G77 is as powerfull as 3 G72)
It supports 80MP with features (200MP on SD865 are without, with MFNR and ZSD, SD865 is limited to 64MP)
    It supports AV1 decoding, SD865 doesn't.
    5G is built-in...
Of course there are some better features on SD865 (lpddr5 for exemple)

Dimensity 1000L is underclocked by 20% compare to 1000, on Reno 3 (chinese), it detroys the SD765 on Reno 3 Pro (chinese) on every benchmark.

March security report from Google shows :
    - a single high issue on Mediatek's
    - 48 high and critical issues on Qualcomm's

I know some people hate it for some reason but honestly I appreciate the popup cam on my 7 pro, having the edge to edge display without any holes is a major win factor for me over phones I see day to day, and had no problems with reliability or missing a selfie either.

only complaint I have is that Oneplus used an odd curve angel for the corners of the display and it just off more than it should from the UI in some apps, otherwise I'm happy with it. even the 90hz display is butter smooth having used the Razer phone 1 and 2, I think Oneplus hit a sweet spot between being smooth and well priced

they wanted to be the new huawei. even with the agressive advertising, now even with actors advertising they still didnt do hot. people want 200-300 euros phone. 400 euros is a71,pixel 4a, sony a10 mark 2. and samsung new se2. not even talking about xiaomi, realme and others.

Having probably the Dimensity 1000L for OnePlus 8 Lite for 400 is going to be good.

Though I already quit on them because they removed the headphone jack. I thought OnePlus is the People's Phone, not Carl Pei's profits.

                                        > According to the same insider information OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 8 Lite in the UK by July, with an as of yet unconfirmed MediaTek chipset, a punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rate and a price of £400.

OnePlus has finally decided they are in a luxury/premium segment. Too bad, no purchase from me. I ain't paying this much money for the phone which can be bought for £100 from less luxurious OEMs.

And they may burn in hell with their 2.5D curved screens which add nothing but a long list of very bad issues. Once a decent brand with decent phones at attractive prices has become a Samsung/Apple wannabe. Meanwhile if you're not on their latest iteration of phones, forget about timely/regular updates. And their bug reporting system is atrocious.

                                        Shame, shame, shame!
