You don't get credit for bringing it first.
Pioneering doesn't mean bringing it first, it means taking it to the next level which is what Samsung did with the telephoto lens. I wish they did the same for the Ultrawide.

That 100x zoom is rubbish, be honest its not something I would go around showing people. And I'm Samsung user, but not a fanboy.

The S20 Series and the S20 Ultra are extremely bold decisions and risks taken, and with the right firmware updated to the camera algorithms, it should pay off as probably the best phone camera of the year. The zoom, including the 100x zoom had already improved substantially with the new firmware update. If Samsung can master the upressing software during or immediate after image capture itself, this camera could truly help you replace your point and shoot completely.

Plus its gonna get even better with time as Samsung improves their Algorithms for Nona Bayer sensor.
It just didn't match the expectations that were created by the hype, where everyone thought this would be head and shoulders above the rest of the flagships.
