In literally all Sample Photos,

Xiaomi was at least as good or better,

So the score does not make any sense.

Chinese phones have beast photo quality in todays industry. Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi.
These are best in this decade.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2020You don't trust DxO. Why do you even care? How can i trust when I dont even know if this phone took those pics?

I've seen the samples. Although the images are very good, they're certainly not among the best.

Still, good to see new and advanced hardware on these new phones.

Even though it was a HUGE disapointment for me to learn that the Find X2 had a punch hole instead of a pop up or anything else that give a true fulldisplay like the original, and that they dropped advanced 3D facial recognition...

I've always since I've read about the Sony IMX 689 and its autofocusing capabilities be really exited about this, I did and still believe that this tech is the future !
For the 5x zoom that's normal, a digital zoom will NEVER be as good as a pure optical one, and hybrid zoom are, for me, useless.
Of course that zooming numerically in an image loose details, no need to be a genius to understand that, the same happen when you zoom any picture in a computer to the point its resolution at the place you are looking is lower than the one of your display.
Optical zoom loose light, but with a good setup this isn't an issue if your sensor gather enough light in the first place, at worse you'll just need more exposure.
I have a camera with a 42 optical zoom and fully zoomed, I reach the point where the thermal perturbation of the air are the thing that make for the biggest quality impact, but once the digital zoom kick in, even on its small display, I quickly see the loss of quality.
Hybrid zoom are IMO a gimmick to just say they have a big zoom, but we should ONLY count the optical zoom.

                All photos.

Lots of overlapping conclusions in the strengths of the camera

                  Especially colour accuracy

                  And disadvantages like weak HDR

Lots of YouTubers(mkbhd etc) said same so I'd say these claims are legit from dxo

But time will come to bow down and worship the camera God the p40 premium

I'm not a fan of Oppo but it's nice to see them coming up to dethrone Samsung as the dominating mobile phone company.

Still a main disadvantage to the Mi Note 10 Pro, not available to buy until May.
