Future's best mobile OS is going to be Tizen. I think most of the people around the world don't have enough knowledge about it. It is still in development and it looks way better than android already(particularly the 3D effects in gallery). There's still lot more to come. Add to that the fact that all android apps and the previous bada apps will run on tizen!

I really hope Sammy moves towards this as Android will sooner rather than later start going downhill, too many devices, too many users on gingerbread. When new updates come, manufacturers will be reluctant to update gingerbread phone to new jelly bean or candy floss os. Tizen sounds and looks good. Yeah it copies android and ios a bit but I think it looks nice. Every os copies another os in some way. Just make sure they copy the best bits :).

I say, wait and see. Bada doesn't suck but is incomplete. A merge in Tizen could be the missing link. Samsung is incredibily flexible and invests lots of resources without loosing track about the cost as well as the market potential! An own open source os could be instant cash... No other brand can make such a different port folio as samsung. Nokia...is dead...almost..., LG...who???, Apple...well...only one or two devices...and too expensive, the chinese?...wel its still a question mark isn't it? So let's not bury an os that still has to be made. Always beta...remeber?

AnonD-5583, 02 May 2012Tizen!! The baby-child of intel-samsung wedlock!! (yup, wit... moreYeah, same way as Samsung ditched Omnia HD Symbian Platform, I feel that Mobile OS market is getting overcrowded, following a strategy of when you can't fool a customer just confuse him with loads of options. Meego, Bada i wonder are they gonna get considerable market share and is Samsung honest this time to support bada?

UX is sucks, especially - task manager. samsung's designers really can't make anything "non-touchwize"..

Tizen!! The baby-child of intel-samsung wedlock!! (yup, with more partners involved ;). But with android as sammy's main priority, tizen is going nowhere. Did someone spell "bada"? Thanks god, at least someone remembered the poor OS's name! The unwanted offspring with single parent. Case of battered baby syndrome.

Just waiting on May 7th - 9th. The Tizen Conference.
I am also hoping for a UI change but I'm glad to see that it's already getting updates. I also am an App developer and seeing as how this is HTML5, This should be very compatible with lots of web based apps already.
Yea I hope it changes the look from Android as it does look very similar but Android is a rip of Symbian 3 so I guess they all start somewhere.
Also the Icons need a bit of a fresh look. I wish this UI changes to be as unique as Harmattan or the Real MeeGo, not Harmattan.
Also, I hope for 3.5-5.3 inch devices running Tizen as well. I'd love a Note sized and spec'd Tizen device.
Once this first Tizen device releases, it's sayanora Android for me. CAN'T WAIT!!!
Come on Intel, bring out an i7 powered 5.3 inch Tizen device. Dream Phone. :D

OMGush, 02 May 2012Looks like Android. I thought the looks will be much close... moreMeego-Harmattan, the OS that powers the N9, is coded and based on Qt. The vanilla Meego is entirely different from Harmattan. So Tizen doesn't and won't pose any resemblance either in terms of UI.
