Can't say same about asaphalt though.

Whackcar, 09 Mar 2020This is some serious hardware. Blacktuna 3 will be dead ... moreThe only dead on arrival is your understanding about phones.

It is getting ridiculous, why not use 500mhz, higher is better right? Beyond ridiculous, maybe soon your phone will react even before you press it??

s-pen pusher, 10 Mar 2020i totally get it with those people saying gaming phones are... moreThis comment now makes some more sense because you are not pushing regular phone users who don't play too much games (last sentence) to switch to gaming phones. Of course gaming phones have better specs than regular phones in key areas (performance). But this is useless if the user does not exploit its true potential. Simply carrying it around doesn't make it a status symbol. Others will choose the S20, iPhone 11 Pro, Pixel 4, or OnePlus 7. Gaming phones also have limited software support, Asus was late to phase out an audio bug in the ROG Phone. Aftersales is also lacking.

A try with the Razer 2 was enough. And I don't want to be she eped by gaming developers. Looks cool, yeah, but even a popular Indonesian YouTuber switched back to a regular phone after his ROG Phone died and it was irrepairable.

Amer Rock, 09 Mar 2020Team can you please check with Netflix and let us know if w... moreNo smartphone currently support greater than 1080p Netflix, not even Sony Xperia 1 which have 4K display, or Galaxy S20 Ultra or iPhone 11 Pro Max, this is cuz Netflix app on smartphone streams max out to be 1080p.

i totally get it with those people saying gaming phones are a gimmick- benchmarks prove indeed that most of these do not provide sustained gaming prowess than other flagships despite those overrated cooling facilities. the thing is, benchmarks only measures performance and power. gaming handsets also improves over regular flagships on (previously) refresh rate, touch response rate, and speakers, or basically what you hear, see, and feel. proper gaming handsets like those of rog and (now withdrawn) razer have monster stereo speakers that are individually amplified and are capable of pushing a larger volume of air to actually give you fricking bass. imagine that- bass on smartphone speakers. those same speakers are also capable of surround sound that immerses you in the game or whatever media that is encoded with surround sound you are consuming. refresh rates are prevalent nowadays so i won't discuss that anymore. i guess it is pretty much established now that higher refresh rates, regardless the number of games that support it, is now a must-have on flagships. touch response rate- i don't think i need to explain this as well as it is pretty much apparent. i have not included hdr display as it is prevalent nowadays as well, besides it looks like hdr display benefits is subjective. so, just with these three- high refresh rate, touch response rate, and the best speakers set the gaming phones apart from the regular flagships. now, you have to experience it to see its worth, so i guess i this is where we separate those nay sayers against gaming phones. now, to those who say that mobile games are merely cash cows of developers, well you do have to pay for the convenience of playing games in your mobile phone, right? i mean simply saying that pc or console games do not inundate you with ads or make you pay for upgrades is a simplistic argument; let me ask you then- are you able to carry your consoles or pcs in your pocket? i am not a gamer myself, but having experienced gaming on these "true" gaming phones (rog, razer, and blackshark) firsthand, i can say there really is a difference between these and regular flagships. still, i understand those of you who say otherwise because these gaming phones cater to certain demography that you are excluded from.

The Grey/Red one looks nice. Blue/Red is just too much polarization. Literally.

The benefits of gaming phones right now is limited to just extra accessories/cooling/design/screen technology. Not just RedMagic but all of them.

What really is needed to call anything gaming oriented is actually, measurably better hardware inside (than the rest of the standard flagships) and even more importantly, a good number of games that can actually be classified into ones which can fight off console/PC games in their gameplay/user experience. Until then, its just sad.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 09 Mar 2020It is true... Gaming phones are superior... They are the F3... moreCompletely forgot that the Mi 10 Pro and Oppo Find X2 are the MiG-25 s of the smartphone world. Not just fast, but well equipped and more durable than your rubbish gaming smartphone.

Done touching a friend's Razer Phone 2, he sold it as well, there's just no software support. Selling it was pretty tough, and he sold it at a very low price after all. Switched to the Oppo Reno unfortunately.

Don't make me buy a gaming smartphone so I can be billed by Tencent & Netease Games and Garena for playing their games. Also EA and Gameloft. Really, only few games in the Play Store that are interesting. PUBG and COD Mobile's getting too generic these days. Don't trust Chinese app stores anyway.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 09 Mar 2020Sounds like you don't own a gaming phone... Obviously. So what? We are not gaming developers she eps who wants our wallets to be milked off and be an antisocial gaming nerd. But yeah gaming phones do have monster specs.

Wonder if you still want to cite gaming phone specs with Antutu as your usual reference, as it haa been removed due to suspicious behaviour.

No need to own a gaming phone, regular flagship like Mi 10 is enough. What games are there in both App/Play Store that's just as fun, competitive or hardware-demanding than PUBG & COD Mobile and Fortnite? Pretty limited, actually. It gets boring. And yeah those three games only want my credit card.

i want it, seems to be a beast, any idea about price?

Team can you please check with Netflix and let us know if we can play Netflix in UHD+ on this device.
                            Thanks in advance.
