Charging speed is very slow. 5% in 20 minutes.

Improving absolute garbage doesn't mean it's no longer absolute garbage. There's way better phones for the price. Like worlds better. On Amazon the A10 goes for $175 and I can't imagine the A11 will really be any different. For that price you can get the vastly superior Lenovo K10 Note with the Snapdragon 710, 6 gigs of RAM, 128 gigs of storage, and a 1080p display. And that doesn't waste development and research costs on a useless punch hole. Because these notched 1080p LCDs are already in mass production and cheap to get I'd imagine. Which further proves my point that cheap phones like that shouldn't have punch hole displays.

Better cameras, processor, a fingerprint reader, much better battery, etc. It's not as much of an improvement to the A10s, but they were released just 6 months apart, so it's not expected to be a huge improvement.

Either way, that wasn't your original argument. Your original argument was "low-end phones shouldn't have flagship designs." Improvements in specs wasn't part of it. I know I made that argument, but your argument was about the design, not the specs.

joe nodden, 19 Mar 2020Because it's trying to be something it's not. Also, why shouldn't companies aim to make their phones look premium? Just because it's a low-end device doesn't mean it has to look like one. If anything a flagship look would be beneficial because your phone won't scream "this is a $200 phone!" It'll help the phone blend in with the flagship crowd, in a good way. Sure some people might recognize the phone, and they'll know then that it's a budget phone, but not everyone memorizes phone designs, and not everyone actively looks around to see what phones people have. Basically, if it looks like a flagship, most people will assume it's a flagship, which is a good thing.

                (replying to joe nodden)
What? No lol! That just means that advances in technology are allowing these to be put on a low-end phone. Tons of budget phones have these now. The Honor Play 3, Motorola One Action, Infinix S5 lite, vivo Z5x, etc. By your logic, why don't we have iPhone 5-level screen bezels, a 480p screen, and only one camera? Because it's 2020, and we're not that restricted anymore. The iPhone 9 is rumored to have huge bezels and only one camera, but it has the same processor as the iPhone 11 (which is years ahead of every current flagship by the way), flagship camera quality, and guaranteed 5+ years of software updates (it's an Apple phone after all), at just $400 to make up for that.

I apologize if I'm coming off as too angry, but it just is what it is.

This phone makes no sense. Why bother with a punch hole and high screen to body ratio on such a low end phone.

Also Galaxy S10e, Galaxy A20e. Those phones re compact phones by today standards, and usable with one hand. There is also new galaxy, that is compact (and cheap), Galaxy A01, with 5.7" but with big botton, why this Galaxy A11 does not have same 5.7" screen (and smaller dimensions). Like there is no already 200 phones on the market with 6"+ or evben 6.5"+ screens from all OEMs..

And i think 6" is sweet spot.

4 inch screen small for today's standards, as many of us use mobile phone for payment apps, editings, office purposes and all.
I feel 4.7 inch iPhone 7 is decent (but it doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack)
iPhone 8 I won't recommend because of the glass back

Really liking what Samsung puts out for the entry subset of A series, quite surprised it's even getting a triple camera and hole punch at this price.
