Most of us get around 1 Mbps, yes Mega bits per second and not bytes and have latency of American 3G network.

I ran Open Signal speed test in Jio 4G and Airtel 4G in the most tower dense areas in India results.

Jio 4G Latency:79ms Speed: 4Mbps (Mega bits)

Airtel 4G Latency : 68ms Speed: 6.1 (Mega bits)

In speed test it's American 3G speeds, while actual usage is more like American 2G speeds.

Also Mobile GST raised to 18% by honorable FM ;)

In sub Sahara Africa, data is more expensive (cost per Gb) than the USA. The worst is that we have 4G networks operating at 2g Edge speeds (average download speed of 200kb/s).
For example, In Cameroon 50GB data cost about 115$ and this does not include calls and text.

[deleted post]What does this even mean? How much mobile data? Do you have unlimited plans like the US? What is the population density served? What sort of regulations and taxes are included? So many variables. It’s not a simple multiplication problem.

Of course Romania and India has cheaper plans. The standard of living costs less. The wages are lower. You can’t charge high rates in a country that has high unemployment and salaries are low.
