OMG the S3 looks so ugly. In fact it looks similar to the cheap Samsung Corby. I wish the designs on the rumors were real :(

Powerful, indeed. But for what?My Sony Xperia Play with Snapdragon 8255 Single Core 1Ghz/Adreno 205/512MB RAM can handle almost everything I throw at it with ease. Hardware is miles ahead of software at the moment. It is not necessary. The manufacturer and their brilliant marketing executives will try their best to lure people to throw away their current phone to buy it.

For people who fight S3, please take this into consideration:
1. You don't like the S3 generic design althought the other competitors use generic designs (htc one for example).
2. You don't like PenTile displays and you don't know that from the engineering point of view, the Super AMOLED is better than Super AMOLED plus when used with high pixel density (i.e. HD displays) and also brighter than it in direct sunlight.
Note that Samsung engineers are not stupid and they do the best from the engineering point of view not from your point of view.
3. You have a great battery while the others don't have.
4. Finally, you didn't hold or even touch the phone to judge on it.
Please, wait then judge.. to be honest..

AnonD-26870, 03 May 2012SIII AD looks fine. Honestly, I don't care about a comercia... moreI think it's look good too and samsung are going in right direction with that, like i said, samsung is now doing phones for average joe instead tech people.
For me the design of the phone isnt appealing for tech people, but we'll see how it going to go.
womens might going to like this, but if it's too big for them, i don't know. Maybe samsung have some genious thinking there, or not, time will tell.

Love the device but not blown away by the design..would like to see a few adjustments on the Tmo version. For starters will love to see it a little less tall. If the GS3 is GT-i9300, so which device is the GT-i9800?? Did any of those techies n bloggers at the Unpacked event ask Samsung that Question?

Wow, the amount of people over exaggerating how 'ugly' it is, aha. Not just here in your droves but also on 'TheVerge' too. I don't see what's so ghastly about it, a simple clean design. And do you really get a phone for it looks? You'd think this is a fashion blog by the sounds of it Whatever happened to the tech-savvy side of you lot? Come people it's what under the bonnet that counts and tbh while Samsung's 'game-changing' claims is OTT, it's at least delivered a solid, if not ground-breaking enough.
Oh and for those 'Crap. Oh I'm getting a One X instead' malarkey, pipe down and wait for a side-by-side comparison. Ridiculous *sigh*

1) The design sounds loud that this phone is more handy.
2) Those who know the least can imagine what a SAMOLED HD wiith 330ppi would be and also about those who blamed it.
3) Samsung claims a 65 % boost with Quad Chip. Just imagine.
4) 64+64 can give you usable of nearly 120 GB.
5) Not many can beat the photos taken with my SG2. More than enough. Still a front cam update.
6) Be sure that this phone is gonna bring another million smiles.
I kindly request you not to compare HTC One X with this Phone coz all knows how that lags. Now am waiting for GSM ARENA review.

Am i going to buy GS3 just for its specs? I dont think so. If i could order different mobile parts & joint them together to make a phone, i would do that instead of buying this phone. Hugely disappointed with its spec because only the processor is better & screen protection. I dont even like its size, too big for my choice.
