prongs, 03 May 2012Its a good phone except design, GPU, Camera, Build quality.... moreI'm of mixed opinion here on build design. Plastic makes the phone lighter and is quite durable. Gorilla glass 2 is as premium as you get.
But the feel of the iphone 4s and Nokias phones is very nice. A solid build in my hand makes me smile.

HEY HTC fanboys!!! check out the benchmark results for sgs3!! it has literally blown the competetion out of the water!!! hell yeah!!! i cant wait to buy it!!!! really feel sorry for those who didnt wait for sgs3 n chose htc one x!!

I own a Samsung galaxy s2 and i must say i'm not impress with the s3 cuz its not a major improvement. As far I know the one x is better if the update for it fix the bugs it have.

And I'm worried that 4.8" is too large for a smartphone. Batteries get hammered by large displays. 2100mha or no.

Its a good phone except design, GPU, Camera, Build quality. GS3 may be a great phone but not the best as a package. It lacks the whole PREMIUM thing. In the age of uni-body poly-carbonate, anodized aluminum, oxidized aluminium to make ceramic; plain plastic is a super fail. Its not that GS3 is a cheap phone, then why lacks premium feel.
I welcome wireless charging but to get that we will need extra bucks, which is again depressing.

The next iphone will wipe the floor with this no doubt.
But I like it. Come on, you didn't really expect a huge improvement did you? Quad core is now here to stay, with 2ghz the next plateau.
8mp cam is a sweet spot for smart phones. Nokia lead the way here, but we need better sensors, larger lenses. Mp isn't really relevant anymore. If Sammy wants to embrace the camera lovers, then it needs xenon.
Removal battery and Micro SD support is the real bonus here. HTC really messed up here.

Noni, 03 May 2012Same GPU as the S2 , No camera upgrade no slow motion vide... moreWireless charging sounds great! SPebble is pointless. why not play music on the phone itself? or use better bluetooth speakers? Something like Htc's Media Link would have been better.

Screen- Great but nothing excpetional. wheres the "+" there?.. pentile!? really?
Battery & Memory - Unmatched.
Soc/Gpu - Promising.
Camera - Disappointed. For an 8mp camera, its surely great! But the detail on XperiaS just makes me think what an exceptional snapper S3 would have been with 12MP.
Design- Disappointed. plastic? what happened to the ceramic which was so hyped over l-metal, pcarbonate & micro-arc?
A great phone, strong contender for the 'best' moniker. But could have been an instant winner :/

2100 Mha battery and a Micro SD slot. Ill take that any day over the ONE X and the design does not matter your phone will be in a case!

C'mon guys, what wer u expecting??? This "Beast" actually dusts all the competition. Well done Sammy! Thank you for giving us variety, true functionality and a gadget to be proud of!!! Will buy this instead of the HTC One X bcos of the removeable battery, micro SD space, wealth of software and functions, HD Screen, lager battery, the list ie endless! WELLDONE SAMMY! WELL DONE!!!

HTC one x is still over the SGS III (1.5 quad core proccessor)and the ram of the two devices are the same.
wake up and put the one x and the crappy SGS III in a comparison to see which one is the best
