8K video would look much better than any 4K-FHD video on any display equal 4K or below
80Mbps Hevc is like 160Mbps of AVC so yeah at 26fps will look good
the moving from 64Mp to 8K video doesn't count as a crop cause 8K is about 32Mp of resolution..

lol it does have stabilization too plus 80Mbps HEVC and no crop. - you call that stabilization? There is a crop and 80Mbps for 8K is pretty damn low.

I would say 8K need AV1 encoding also removing Android 4Gb+ data limitation too

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2020These guys simply want to make excuses for LG not giving th... moreTBH 60+Hz is incredible if you do a lot of the stuff on your phone.
But if your phone is just a phone, camera and app related device you reallly don't care for 60+ ... like at all.
It's cool to have, even better if you can disable it to save battery, but it's far from being worthwhile investement right now, on iPad, when you sketch things, thats another story entirely.

Anyway shame on LG for massively downgrading LG V screens in terms of resolution, I think more people would like to have a better main screen, than a worse one and identical "clip on".

zamroni1, 17 Mar 2020but higher refresh rate significantly consumes more battery... moreYou know you can set in the settings of the phone between 60hz and 120hz in phones that have 90 or 120hz option, beside 60hz? In all phones, so no big deal, you want long(er) battery life, set refresh rate to 60hzz on the otgher hand, in 120hz everything looks way and smother

T-Mobile is also offering a BOGO, and you don't need new lines for it. They offer it for the device with or without the second screen case.

"Over at Verizon the price is higher, but the accessory is free."
Huhh... yeah whatever...

Just don't pay the full price, wait for 3-4 months, and you'll end up buying an ultimate flagship for a mid-range price.

So the V60 is the value!

zamroni1, 17 Mar 2020but higher refresh rate significantly consumes more battery... moreConsumers are stupid, tech guys want big battery.
You can't use logic in mobile industry, because most of the customers can't use they brain and want bigger number, because bigger number is better.

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2020Not really. I would rather have the better battery life. ... moreIf you want better battery life, turn the refresh rate down to 60hz.
Don't rob other users from a 120hz display.

Besides, loss in battery life for most @120hz vs that @60Hz is no less than 10-15%.
Also this display isn't 2k or 3k, it's 1080p.

699 and iPhone 11 will be a loser
