Even with PS10 i would like more laptop and desktop copmuter than any console which is good only for gaming and nothing else.

So I'm not hopping for any identical performance difference as there was between Xbox one x vs ps4 pro despite of having one year release gap..

Of all the consoles I own since NES N SEGA ---- Mega drive has been my all time favourite the arcade feeling.
I am done with consoles PS4 PRO is my last with the VR HEADSET ...
I will be waiting for the ps5 to drop significantly in price so I can add it to my collection ( I might even consider buying a broken one). After 4-5 years maybe !!!
Now that I am into pc gaming ( ok I aint even gaming that much) but in terms of productivity , portability and future wise upgrades I am stuck with a pc now ( laptop that is), to all the hardcore gamers I wish you radical playing time !!!

There are some recent authentic sources and sites said ps5 will be more powerful and will have 13 tflops compute unit. So what about this now? Until these come to the market these analyses are one prediction..

Did you test by yourself?... moredigital foundry analysed the facts and come to the same conclusion, have a look at it yourself, just like gamecube and xbox was more powerful than ps2, xbox one x is more powerful than ps4 pro, does not mean they will be most sucessful in terms of sales.

If Sony wants to have the success it had with PS4 then the PS5 must be at least 30% more powerful than the XBOX series X and we want also HDR support, because the global economy is collapsing and the market of consoles is shrinking, otherwise we will have a repeat PS2 VS XBOX 360 era. And do not forget Google stadia and Nvidia platform and the new video catds this year. We want a new generation consoles with true 4k 120 FPS no gimmick. I Hope at least 15TFLOPS REAL POWER. or else goodbye.

What if Sony announces:
- Backwards compatibility with ALL PlayStation (1,2,3,4) Games
- Day One patch for all First-Party PS4 titles to run at a locked 4K-60fps on the PS5
- Larger 32GB GDDR6 Memory for a confident future-proofing
- Increased launch price of USD$599 for the first year, and a permanent drop to $499 after
- Specs similar to the Xbox Series X
- An upcoming updated PS-VR Headset (2x 1440p screen?)
- Announcement of a couple PS5 Upcoming Games
(possible games/franchise: God of War 5, Gran Turismo 7, Tekken 8, LittleBig Planet 4, Infamous 3, Motorstorm 4, WipeOut 10, Twisted Metal 7, Jak Daxter 4, Ratchet Clank 7, Sly Racoon 5, Oddworld 3 MediEvil 4, Ape Escape 4, Spyro 4, Crash Bandicoot 4).
...personally I don't care for the TouchPad or TouchScreen on the new DS5 controller, but a new PSP (or Sony Xperia Play) could be a pleasant surprise!

And since when flops become the measurement of power? It has do nothing much with gpu capabilities.. Both console will use similar tech confirmed by AMD which likely have same GPU capabilities.. According to some new leaks ps5 will be powerful than xbox sx.. But I believe they'll share most of the power specs this time..

I will expect PS5 will be priced around US$500/JPY55,000/euro450/gbp400/HK$3800, this console will be less powerful than xbox series which probably sell at US$700, but more expensive the xbox series s which is cheaper next gen xbox, features includes high resolution wireless audio with 360 reality audio, twice as power of ps4 pro at 8000gflops, hardware ray tracing, ssd 1tb, maybe it uses laptop user changable ssd, compatible with ps4 games, maybe 8k games on at 30fps and possible 4k games at 60fps, 4k bluray, dolby atmost as standard.

It has more Japanese games beside American games. Its exclusive games is also more interesting.
Just remember the history of the spec:
PS1 < Saturn & N64
PS2 < Xbox & Gamecube
PS3 < X360 (on GPU.. not CPU)
PS4 Pro < Xone X
But Playstation sales is still way ahead.

I think this time the technical specs will be almost equal on both consoles, i hope MS could fix 2 big problems with their Xbox brand: Expand the Xbox live service to more countries and invest more in quality first party exclusive games.
