Only Apple iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will get ToF cameras

Was due an upgrade a couple of years ago, 10 months before Pixel 3 launched. Pixel 2 looked good, but due to changing work, I went SIM only and waited. When it launched, the price plans were too high, so I waited a while, ended up getting a 2XL second hand whilst I waited for Pixel 4. I thought it was dire, so still waiting to see a phone worthy enough.

Just take a look at battery-gate and now they have also been convicted to pay a huge fine. Hopefully Apple will recieve much more fines for their consumer-hostile behavior..

                Just like the S20 and S20+, I still cannot see any benefit of ToF apart from fake bokeh in Portrait mode. Just give me direct natural bokeh from the camera lens all day long.

                      Despite the Bokeh still have same issues of those that do not have ToF.

I thought the Pro Max last year was their best device for years. I think Samsung is still poor in cameras, but nail most other things. Google, well they are rumoured to go mid range this year, which is laughable. They really only had to do a few things, as they already had epic photography. Just needed a good screen, and improved battery. To me, the Apple 12, with these additions, will be the best all round phone. It's cameras, screen, battery, design, they're all on point.

                            Seriously, who cares about sh*tty ToF. How about better displays, larger battery, less bugs on release, much much better ultra wide camera etc. Apple always focuses on meaningless things nobody wants.

                                        For those who can speak to Apple: please open the bluetooth and NFC to other devices (i.e laptops, payment tools, NFC card readers, etc).
